Santa Monica addresses

Prices are per month for the address and mail handling. Mail scanning and live answering are optional add-ons.

Why a Santa Monica address

Santa Monica has a large tech, media and creative business community. A Santa Monica business address lets a company that works from home, or from anywhere, show a local Westside address on its website, invoices and business listings without signing an office lease.

The address is a real street address, not a P.O. box. Your mail is addressed to the street address with your private mailbox (PMB) number, logged when it arrives, and then scanned, forwarded, held for pickup by appointment or shredded, whichever you choose for each item.

Comparing nearby Westside addresses

If you are choosing between Westside neighborhoods, 11150 West Olympic Boulevard in West Los Angeles sits between Santa Monica and Beverly Hills and has meeting rooms you can book online. The Beverly Hills page covers the 90210 and 90212 addresses. Every address shows its own monthly price, so you can compare before you decide.

What your plan includes

  • A real street address in an office building, with your own private mailbox (PMB) number. Not a P.O. box.
  • Every letter and package logged to your online account the day it arrives, with a photo of the envelope.
  • Per item, you choose: open and scan, forward, hold for pickup by appointment, or shred.
  • Several items can be forwarded together in one shipment, so you pay postage once.
  • Up to three extra people you authorize can pick up mail for you; each completes their own USPS Form 1583.
  • Month-to-month plans with no long-term contract.

Questions about a Santa Monica virtual office

Is the Santa Monica address a P.O. box?

No. It is a street address. Your mail is addressed to it with your private mailbox (PMB) number, which is assigned when you sign up.

What does a Santa Monica virtual office cost?

Each address has its own monthly price, shown on this page and on the address's own page, and plans are month to month. Mail scanning is an optional add-on with its own plans.

Can I use this address for my California LLC?

Many clients use it as their business mailing address. California's Statement of Information asks for a street address for the principal office (it says not to list a P.O. box), allows a separate mailing address, and needs a California street address for your agent for service of process. Whether a virtual office address fits a particular field depends on where your business is actually run, so read the Secretary of State's current instructions or ask your accountant or attorney before you file. A virtual office plan is a business address and mail service; it does not include registered agent service.

Do I have to fill out USPS Form 1583?

Yes. Federal postal rules require every person who receives mail at a commercial mail receiving agency (CMRA) to complete PS Form 1583 and show a current primary and a secondary form of identification. Since May 2024 the signature has to be confirmed in person or over a live video call with the CMRA, or acknowledged before a notary. You complete it during sign-up, and each person you authorize to pick up mail completes their own.
